Excavation on Patoka Pines began in 2020 with a simple vision: create a campground that understands what RV travelers actually want. We're a single family-owned property, and that means your vacation time matters to us — waiting around is not an option here.

You can pull in and relax knowing hassle-free camping is at the heart of the Patoka Pines experience. While Patoka Lake's 8,800 acres of aquatic recreation are the main draw, there's much more to see and do nearby. We're centrally located so you can experience the best of Southern Indiana with ease.

Just a few miles up the road you'll find the historic French Lick and West Baden Springs Hotels, along with great golf and a casino. Wilstem Wildlife Park lets you get up close and personal with all kinds of exotic animals. Head east to explore remarkable caves, or drive south to take in the architecture of a beautiful monastery. Go west and you're in the heart of Amish country.

State parks, the Hoosier National Forest, rambling rivers, and small-town charm round out everything a Southern Indiana visit has to offer — and you're in the middle of it all when you pull into Patoka Pines.
